In a bold move to enhance security across Katsina metropolis, the Katsina State Government, led by Governor Malam Dikko Radda, has begun installing solar-powered street lights along major roads. The project, approved by the Katsina State Executive Council on May 23, 2024, spans 52 kilometers and covers key roads, including the routes from KTARDA headquarters to Shinkafi and Usman Nagogo Daura Road to Katsina Central Mosque.
