Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated the people of the state as it marks 38 years since its creation, calling on citizens to unite in shaping a greater tomorrow.
In a goodwill message to mark the anniversary on September 23, Governor Radda described the milestone as a reflection of the resilience, unity, and determination of Katsina’s people.
“Every leader who has governed this state has added value to our story. We acknowledge their efforts and build on the foundations they laid for us,” he said.
The Governor noted that his administration’s Building Your Future agenda is designed to carry the state into a brighter future. “Every road we construct, every school we build, every hospital we renovate is an investment in the next 38 years of our state’s existence,” he declared.
Radda emphasized that Katsina has seen remarkable changes in the past two years and promised even more progress ahead. He stressed that the state’s success depends on collective effort: “Katsina State belongs to all of us. Its progress depends on all of us.”
While assuring residents of continued focus on security, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and agriculture, he urged citizens to play their part in tackling insecurity. He also praised the contributions of traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth, women, and civil society groups for supporting government initiatives.
Governor Radda wished all citizens a happy 38th anniversary, expressing optimism for “even greater achievements in the years ahead.”
