The Katsina State Safety and Road Traffic Authority (KASSAROTA) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, Engr. Tukur Hassan Tingilin, describing his passing as a monumental loss to the state’s public service.
In a statement issued in Katsina by the Authority’s Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Marwana Kofar Sauri, KASSAROTA said the news of the engineer’s demise was received with shock and profound sadness.
The Director General of the Authority, Major Garba Yahaya Rimi (Rtd), noted that the late Tingilin was a committed and hardworking administrator who devoted his expertise and energy to improving water supply services across Katsina State.
According to the statement, the deceased played a pivotal role in advancing access to potable water, touching countless lives through his dedication to duty and passion for public welfare.
“Katsina State has lost a diligent technocrat whose contributions to water infrastructure and service delivery will not be forgotten,” the statement read.
KASSAROTA extended its heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the management and staff of the Katsina State Water Board, the Katsina State Government, and the people of Katsina State.
The Authority prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and bestow strength and comfort upon his family and associates in this difficult time.
