Kano- Jigawa professional forum has presented a ten year strategic plan report in response to the Covid 19 pandemic to Jigawa state government.
The chairman of the forum, Dr Shamsuddeen Usman who led the team presented the report to Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state at government house Dutse.
He explained that the project made critical assessment of the prevalent situation of the pandemic in the two states with more than 150 professional of diverse backgrounds on education, health, governance, economy, infrastructure, technology, legal practitioners and the media.
Dr Shamsudeen Usman said, the project was conceived out of the desire learning lessons from the negative effects of the pandemic.
He commended the effort and commitment of Governor Badaru Abubakar on Covid 19 pandemic.
Responding, Governor Badaru Abubakar assured the professional forum that the report will be fully implemented.
He said his administration has started implementing the advices in the areas of education, water, and sanitation as well as media and communication.
Badaru appointed the jigawa state Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi as the chairman of the implementation committee.
