The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani HOD, has received a commendation letter from the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
The letter commends her exceptional leadership and dedication to improving the livelihood of the state populace.
Specifically, it recognizes her outstanding efforts in organizing a stakeholders meeting, which led to the successful development of a 5-year strategic and annual work plan for the Ministry.
” This remarkable achievement demonstrates her commitment to driving positive change and enhancing the well-being of the people of Kano State.
In another development, the Honourable Commissioner visited the Accident and Emergency Unit of Murtala Muhammad Hospital to check on the condition of an unknown patient who was seen hanging at the flyover of the Kofar Nassarawa.
During her visit, she met with Matron Hussaina Sani and commended her for her kind efforts towards the patient.
The Honourable Commissioner, Hajiya Amina HOD, was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry and some Directors. She donated money, a blanket, detergent, soap, and tissue to support the patient’s care.
The Honourable Commissioner also promised to continue taking care of the patient until he recovers well, after which he will be taken to the Shahuchi Old People’s home to continue with his life.
”This Humanitarian effort is in line with the reason why the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf, established the Ministry.
