Federal Government appointees from Kano State have reaffirmed their loyalty to the leadership of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, while also throwing their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the group at a stakeholders’ meeting, the Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, said the appointees—comprising Director Generals, Executive Secretaries, Managing Directors, and other top government officials—remain committed to Ganduje’s leadership both in Kano and at the national level.
Dan Agundi expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for entrusting Kano indigenes with key federal appointments, describing it as “a great opportunity to serve the people and contribute to national development.”
“We reiterate our total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership and policies, and we are determined to work hard to deliver APC’s victory in the 2027 general elections,” he declared.
He further urged party members and citizens of Kano State, alongside Nigerians at large, to continue to back President Tinubu’s administration, noting that the government’s policies were already laying the foundation for sustainable development across the nation.
According to him, unity of purpose, loyalty to leadership, and commitment to service will remain the guiding principles of Kano appointees as they contribute their quota toward building a stronger Nigeria.
