Kaduna residents are reacting with mixed emotions following the death of a notorious thug, Habu Dan Damisa, a well-known figure in Tudun Wada area of the state.
Dan Damisa reportedly died on Wednesday, bringing an end to a reign of terror that had left many in fear. For some, news of his passing was a relief, marking the close of a violent chapter. Others, however, responded with sympathy, describing his death as a sobering reminder of life’s fragility.
“He was accused of terrorising the community and allegedly responsible for the killing of several people. But as for us, all we can say is, may Allah forgive our dead and guide our offspring,” one resident told reporters.
Widely feared for his violent lifestyle, Dan Damisa’s death has left the community torn between grief, forgiveness, and a sense of justice served.
