The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has thrown its weight behind the leadership of Mai Mala Buni, applauding his administration’s strides in job creation and food security across Yobe State.
In a statement by its National President, Khalil Mohammed Bello, the association described Governor Buni as a visionary leader whose policies continue to uplift livelihoods and strengthen the state’s economy.
KACRAN praised the governor’s investments in agriculture, noting that the provision of affordable farm inputs has boosted food production and positioned Yobe as a key contributor to regional food security.
It also highlighted the establishment of a Ministry of Livestock as a bold step toward enhancing livestock development and supporting pastoral communities.
The group further commended ongoing infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and modern markets, which it said are stimulating trade and improving access between rural and urban areas.
On human capital development, the association lauded scholarship programmes for Yobe indigenes and the recruitment of thousands of youths into the civil service, alongside empowerment initiatives targeting women and young people.
KACRAN also acknowledged the administration’s humanitarian efforts, particularly support for internally displaced persons and Ramadan feeding programmes aimed at cushioning the impact of economic hardship on vulnerable groups.
Urging other leaders to emulate Buni’s approach, the association emphasized the need for sustained investment in agriculture, job creation, and social welfare as pathways to national stability.
It expressed optimism that with continued commitment, Yobe State is on course for greater prosperity, unity, and long-term development.
