Joint Taskforce Rushes to Aid Flood-Ravaged Borno Community

A joint team, comprising officials from the North East Zonal Office, the Director General of BOSEMA, and key stakeholders, descended on Mainok Community in Kaga Local Government Area on July 16, 2024.

Their mission: assess the extensive damage caused by a devastating flash flood that struck the area just a day earlier.

Calamity wreaked havoc, destroying numerous homes and properties worth millions of naira, and leaving many residents homeless.

The displaced, primarily women and children, found temporary refuge at GSS Kaga.
