High-ranking ISWAP commanders, along with clusters of militants, were reportedly gathering in concealed camps under dense vegetation, planning renewed assaults.

The Nigerian jets unleashed an intense assault, deploying bombs and cannon fire that leveled hideouts and pursued fleeing insurgents, leaving devastation in their wake. This mission follows an October 30 strike in the same region that killed 50 ISWAP fighters, including notorious commander Qaid Bashir Dauda.
