In a dramatic escalation of regional tensions, Iran has issued a grave warning to the United States, France, and the United Kingdom: any direct military support or defensive aid to Israel will be seen as an act of war.
A top Iranian military official declared on Saturday that Tehran is prepared to strike Western military bases across the Middle East if foreign powers actively assist Israel amid ongoing hostilities.
“If they intervene to protect the Zionist regime, they will be held responsible for the consequences. All their military assets in the region are within our reach,” the official said.
This comes as fears grow over the widening scope of the conflict, with Iran vowing to retaliate aggressively against any perceived escalation by Western allies of Israel.
