The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has directed all members who are yet to register with the Dangote Refinery to do so without delay, as the much-anticipated direct supply of petroleum products begins on Monday, September 15, 2025.

In a memo jointly signed by the IPMAN National President, Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi Shettima, and the National Secretary, Hon. James Terlumun Tor, the association announced that the refinery will start loading and supplying products directly to marketers across the country.

“The National Executive Committee (NEC) of IPMAN is pleased to inform members who have renewed their registration, in line with IPMAN’s 2009 Constitution as amended, that payment, loading, and supply of petroleum products at the Dangote Refinery have commenced,” the memo read.

IPMAN members already registered with Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals Co. Ltd have been directed to resume immediate payment and supply transactions. Meanwhile, marketers yet to register have been urged to do so promptly in order to benefit from the new supply arrangement.

According to the memo, beginning Monday, products will be loaded and supplied directly to buyers’ locations nationwide, a move expected to ease supply chain bottlenecks and stabilize fuel distribution.

This directive comes as anticipation grows over Dangote Refinery’s long-awaited entry into the domestic fuel market, a development industry stakeholders believe could reshape Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.
