The GOBIR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION has expert shock and disappointment over the reckless murder of their district head, Late Alhaji Isa Bawa
Alhaji Idris Gatawa and Dr. Dahiru Umar who made sad shock stated that the attacks in the council area has reached an alarming proportion that is very bad as no one knew who is the next victim or victims
He stated further at a press chart that over 2,000 people have been killed by bandits and another ,156 in the hands  of bandits/kidnappers unabated while several of their people now take refuge in Niger Republic and the state capital without shelter
Alhaji Gatawa and Dr. Dahiru therefore called on the state government and security agencies (Army and Police) to create check points at strategic places across the council area.
He stated further that the farmers in the areas can no longer access their farm to work or face being killed by bandits while no one dare sleep with two eyes closed 24 hours daily
In same vein, The Center For Crisis Control and Management has called on the state and federal government at all levels to combine efforts and create a lasting strategies to put an end to senseless killing of people in the country
The chairman of the center, Major Gen Olukolade (RTD) made the call while speaking to a cross section of the press. He condemned the recent brutal killing of Gobir district head Late Alhaji Isa Bawa and many others across the country.
