INEC, Police Deepen Ties Ahead of Future Elections in Zamfara

In a move to strengthen electoral security and inter-agency collaboration, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Zamfara State, Dr. Muhmuda Isah, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, at the State Police Command Headquarters in Gusau on Thursday.

Dr. Isah lauded the Police Command for its unwavering support in maintaining peace and security across the state, especially during previous election exercises. He emphasized the critical role of a strong partnership between INEC and security agencies in ensuring the credibility, transparency, and peaceful conduct of elections.
