I can’t be intimidated, belief on democratic processes for better Nigeria– Tambuwal

Sen. Aminu Tambuwal (PDP-Sokoto) says he is not afraid of any form of intimidation, firmely believe on democratic processes and reaffirmed commitment to sacrifice more for Nigerians.

Tambuwal, former Speaker of House or Representatives and two-term governor of Sokoto state between 2015 to 2023 made the remark at a reception organized in his honor by supporters on Thursday in Sokoto.

The Newsmen reports that the reception was organized as a rousing welcome after Tambuwal was fter release from Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrest in Abuja.

” I remain resolute, resolve and not shaken from any form intimidation, I stand by courage, focus and determination to serve the country.

” I believe in democratic processes and system, ready to support good government that will better the lives of citizens, ” Tambuwal said.

He commended EFCC officials on maturely handlings on the assuring that the coalition he supported was meant to uplift the country to better through ending maladministration.

He recalled that a commission of inquiry was constituted and conducted series scrutiny of some activities of his administration in Sokoto state.

Tambuwal assured that he would always be ready to defend himself and stewardship stressing that he believed on good governance, prudence and accountability for the interest of people.

Newsmen reports motorcade of supported welcomed Tambuwal from Sultan Abubakar International Airport to his resident at Kontagora road in Sokoto metropolis.
