Report has it, One Khadija Jamilu, aged 18 years, now at large, allegedly attacked her husband, aged 25 years, both of the same address, using a knife and inflicted a deep cut injury on his genital organ.
According to the Police source, On 6th February, 2026, at about 1500 hours, the Potiskum Divisional Police Headquarters received a distress call reporting a violent domestic incident which occurred earlier the same day at about 0100 hours.
Following the report, police operatives promptly visited the scene and rushed the victim to the State Specialist Hospital, Potiskum, for urgent medical attention.
He was subsequently referred to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Azare, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Efforts are in top gear to arrest the fleeing suspect, while investigation into the case is ongoing.
