Hours After Army Victory, Bandits Strike Back in Kankara

In a daring attack, bandits led by the notorious Babaro stormed Kankara town in Katsina State moments ago, abducting a woman and her daughter.

The raid, which sent shockwaves through Ƙankara Local Government Area, comes barely 24 hours after the Nigerian Army launched a successful ambush on the criminals’ hideout, killing several bandits, rescuing captives, and recovering arms.

Residents of Kankara are gripped with fear as Babaro’s gang retaliates, defying the military’s intensified operations in the region.
