Honour for Peace: Ba’aba Wins Prestigious Yobe Award

In a grand ceremony held in Potiskum town, Yobe State, Barrister Bakura Ba’aba, an elderstatesman was presented with the prestigious “Voice of reason Award” by the Yobe South Progressive Unity Front. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions to promoting understanding and restoring peace within the community.

The Executive leadership of the forum, led by its leaders, Malam Ibrahim presented the award to Barrister Ba’aba in a special ceremony, citing his strength, patience, and diplomacy as key qualities that have earned him this recognition.

According to the forum, Barrister Ba’aba’s philanthropic gesture to his community is worthy of applause. For decades, he has been offering free legal services to vulnerable persons who cannot afford to hire a lawyer to pursue their cases in court.
