Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda today administered the Oath of Office to Hon. Malik Anas as the new Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in the State.
During the ceremony at Government House, Governor Radda acknowledged his firsthand experience working with Hon. Anas during his tenure as Chief of Staff.
The Governor praised the new commissioner’s dedication, honesty and courage in public service.
“Hon. Anas has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to truth and transparency in governance, qualities that are essential for this critical role, the Governor stated.
The Governor further emphasized the importance of maintaining high ethical standards in public service, encouraging the new commissioner to continue his principled approach to governance.
“There is no greater reward than the peace of mind that comes from doing what is right,” Governor Radda reaffirmed.
The Governor expressed hope that the new commissioner will use his vast experience in serving state.
Hon. Anas brings wealth of experience to his new role, holding a Master’s in Business Administration from Bayero University Kano. His professional background includes service as Katsina State Accountant General.
He maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria and the host of others.
The swearing in ceremony had in attendance the State Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe and other members of the State Executive Council.
