The son of the Head of the Hisbah Commission in Katsina State, Sheikh Abu Ammar, who is also a member of the commission, Yasir Abu Ammar, was involved in a serious accident on Sunday in Katsina city, resulting in the loss of his left hand.
The circumstances of the accident are still under investigation. Family members, colleagues, and the community have expressed shock and sympathy over the incident.
Well-wishers have prayed for his recovery, asking Allah to grant him strength to overcome this trial and restore his health.
The Hisbah Commission has not yet released an official statement regarding the accident or the condition of Yasir Abu Ammar beyond the injury.
