Prominent Nigerian governors and political leaders who are in Saudi Arabia to perform Lesser Hajj have commiserated with Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari.
The delegation included Governors Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State, Prof. Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Uba Sani of Kaduna, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, and Chairman Northern Governors Forum, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State.
National political figures who joined the condolence visit included APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Ganduje, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Former Bauchi State Governor and PDP Chairman, Ahmed Muazu and business tycoon Dahiru Mangal.
Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa also participated in the condolences. The distinguished visitors expressed their sympathies and offered prayers for the soul of the departed matriarch during this solemn occasion.
