The people of Gulani local government area paid a thank you visit to His Excellency the Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON COMN, on the appointment of Alh. Tonga Betara, as acting Head of service.
Prominent sons of Gulani local government area eulogized Gov. Buni for appointment of sons of Gulani sons into key government positions and providing the area with infrastructure to, improve the lives of the people.
The speakers include Commisioners of Wealth Creation Alh. Aji Bularafa, Power and Energy Alh. Muhammad Muhammad Bara, and Hon. Bunu Zannah, member representing Gulani Constituency in the state assembly described the appointment of Betara as the new state Head of Service as an honour done to the people of the area .
The speakers said the appointment of Betara, a seasoned civil servant as Head of service was a round peg in a round hole that would add value to governance and service delivery to the people.
They pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the Buni administration, assuring their support at all times.
