The focus is on unlocking value in priority sectors, and the development of the CSA policy is a key part of this strategy. This policy aims to empower farmers to adopt climate-smart farming methods, leading to improved livelihoods, increased productivity, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable food systems, environmental protection, and new business opportunities.

This move comes at a critical time, as it will help the state address challenges related to global food security and climate change, ensuring a more resilient and sustainable agricultural sector in Katsina State.
