The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle affecting several commissioners in the state.
In the new changes, the Commissioner for Primary and Secondary Education, Hajiya Zainab Musa Musawa, has been redeployed to head the Ministry of Special Duties.
Similarly, the Governor has relieved three other commissioners of their current portfolios and reassigned them to new ministries as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across the state.
The cabinet reshuffle, according to Government House sources, is aimed at ensuring greater efficiency, renewed focus, and effective implementation of the administration’s key development priorities.
Governor Radda, since assuming office, has emphasized performance, accountability, and innovation as guiding principles in his administration’s drive to transform Katsina State.
The new changes are expected to take immediate effect.
