Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, received a distinguished delegation of sympathizers at his country home in Radda Village following the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Radda, who died on Saturday.
Leading the official condolence visit were Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahya Daura, and Secretary to the State Government Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari.
The visit also saw the presence of top political figures, including Yobe State Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana, federal lawmakers Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri (Mashi/Dutsi), Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed (Matazu/Musawa), and Hon. Sada Soli Jibia (Jibia/Kaita).
Among the dignitaries who paid their respects were former DSS Director-General and Sardaunan Katsina, Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i, former Secretary to the State Government Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, APC State Chairman Alhaji Sani Aliyu Daura, as well as local government chairmen and traditional rulers.
The wave of condolences reflects the deep respect and admiration for the governor and his family, as sympathizers continue to troop in, offering prayers for the late matriarch’s eternal rest.
