Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has congratulated the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.
The Governor commended the corporation’s management and staff for seven decades of dedicated service to Nigeria.
“The FRCN has been a pillar of information dissemination and national development for 75 years. You have educated millions. You have informed millions. You have entertained millions,” Governor Radda.
The Governor recognized the critical role radio broadcasting plays in reaching Nigerians across the nation. He noted that FRCN has remained a trusted voice and reliable source of news and entertainment for generations.
“Radio remains one of the most powerful mediums of communication in Nigeria. The FRCN has upheld the standards of this medium. You have maintained professionalism. You have served with integrity,” the Governor asserted.
The Governor used the occasion to urge the FRCN to continue its vital work. He called on the corporation to adapt to changing times while maintaining its core mission of public service.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Katsina State, Governor Radda wished the corporation continued success in its future endeavours. He prayed for more years of impactful service to the nation.
