Governor Radda Pledges Comprehensive Support to Farmers Across Katsina State

In a bold move to revolutionize agriculture in Katsina State, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has announced sweeping plans to empower farmers and tackle the state’s most pressing challenges.

Speaking at the 239th National Executive and Working Committee Meeting of Fityanul Islam, held at the Local Government Service Commission, the Governor outlined his administration’s vision for a thriving agricultural sector and a more resilient society.

“Our administration is committed to empowering farmers at all levels,” Governor Radda declared.

He unveiled a plan to establish mechanized farm service centers in all 34 local government areas of Katsina State, a transformative initiative aimed at boosting agricultural productivity.

“These centers will provide easy access to essential farm machinery, including tractors, at subsidized rates, ensuring that both small and large-scale farmers can benefit,” the Governor explained.

Governor Radda also addressed the state’s ongoing challenges, including food insecurity, security threats, and widespread poverty.
