Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday led a high-powered delegation of the state government to the funeral prayer of the late Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, Engr. Tukur Hassan Tingilin.
The Janazah prayer was led by Honourable Khadi of Katsina State, Mutawakkil Mustapha Salis, shortly after the Jumu’ah prayer at the Malumfashi Central Mosque.
The state delegation included the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe; the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; members of the Katsina State Executive Council and members of the Katsina State House of Assembly.
Others are the local government chairmen; the District Head of Malumfashi, Justice Sadiq Abdullahi Mahuta (rtd); Galadiman Katsina; traditional leaders; business community leaders and other dignitaries.
The delegation prayed for Allah to accept the return of the deceased, and grant the family, colleagues and the people of Malumfashi Local Government Area the strength and patience to bear the loss.
