Governor Radda Inspects LNG/CNG Project in Katsina

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, yesterday led an inspection tour of the ongoing Liquefied Natural Gas/Compressed Natural Gas (LNG/CNG) station project in Katsina metropolis as part of events marking the state’s 38th anniversary.

The landmark project, driven by Greenville Energy and executed by Distilled Design Concept Limited, sits on land provided by the state government. It is being overseen by the Department of Power and Energy and the Rural Electrification Board under the watch of Dr. Hafiz Ahmed, Special Adviser to the Governor on Power and Energy.

Governor Radda, received on arrival by Dr. Ahmed and project engineers, expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work. He hailed the contractors’ professionalism and stressed that the project would strengthen the state’s industrial foundation, provide jobs, and advance sustainable energy supply.

“Our administration is committed to supporting investors and indigenous firms pushing for green growth and sustainable development in Katsina,” the Governor said.

He was accompanied on the inspection by his Principal Private Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Shehu Dabai; Commissioner for Health, Dr. Musa Adamu; Chairman of Katsina Local Government, Isah Miqdad; and other top officials.
