Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated the newly appointed District Heads (Hakimai) in the Katsina Emirate, describing their selection as a reflection of the Emirate’s confidence in men of character, integrity, and commitment to public service.
The newly appointed District Heads are:
Alhaji Sanusi Kabir Usman (Karshin Katsina) – District Head of Shinkafi
Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmumini Kabir Usman (Dan Majen Katsina) – District Head of Dankama
Senator Hadi Sirika (Marusan Katsina) – District Head of Shargalle
Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu, FCNA, mni (Sarkin Mudurun Katsina) – District Head of Muduru
Alhaji Gambo Abdullahi Dabai – District Head of Dabai
Alhaji Muhammad Dikko Umar (Gwagwaren Katsina) – District Head of Radda
Governor Radda described the appointments as timely, noting that the appointees are respected sons of the Emirate with proven records of honour, public service, and humility.
“These appointments celebrate our heritage while calling for higher responsibility in serving our people. The District Heads remain vital in modern governance, serving as bridges between communities and government while preserving our cultural values and fostering peace,” the Governor stated.
The Governor commended the Emir of Katsina, HRH Alhaji (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman for his wisdom and leadership acumen on the choice of the selected title holders. He further assured the new District Heads of the state government’s full support and urged them to discharge their duties with fairness, wisdom, and compassion.
“I urge you to uphold justice, humility, and selfless service. The government stands with you as partners in advancing peace and development across every district,” Governor Radda said.
“On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, I congratulate you all. May your tenure bring unity, prosperity, and continued progress to your districts,” the Governor prayed.
