Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has been honoured with the AI & Tech Award of Excellence by the International Center for Islamic Culture and Education (Al-Noor Masjid, Abuja).
The prestigious recognition was conferred during the Future Leaders Conference 2025, held in Abuja from September 19–21, where Governor Radda was celebrated for his outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, innovation, and leadership development.
The award was presented by Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy. Receiving on the Governor’s behalf, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, delivered a keynote message in which Governor Radda stressed that leadership is “not just about talent, but about responsibility, service, and integrity.”
Radda urged youths to embrace innovation, digital fluency, and ethical values while leading with humility and compassion. “The future does not belong to those who wait; it belongs to those who act,” he declared, challenging young Nigerians to innovate with courage.
He further commended parents, guardians, and facilitators as the “backbone of national progress” and reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir lauded the vibrant participation at the conference, highlighting the near-equal presence of young men and women as a promising sign for Nigeria’s leadership future.
The award solidifies Governor Radda’s vision of investing in human capital and nurturing the next generation of leaders. The three-day event drew policymakers, experts, and youth mentors from across the country.
