Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has moved the current coordinator of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project to the Ministry of Environment for a new strategic role.
Governor Radda announced that Mr. Nafi’u Mohammed Musa will take over as ACReSAL Project Coordinator with immediate effect.
Mr. Nafi’u Mohammed has been serving as Project Coordinator of KT-CARES, where he demonstrated strong capacity in managing development initiatives.
The Governor said the changes will improve how development projects are managed in the state and ensure better results for citizens.
“We are building stronger systems to deliver development programmes more effectively. This appointment reflects our commitment to excellence in project implementation,” Governor Radda stated.
He thanked the outgoing coordinator for his work and wished him well in his new role at the Ministry of Environment.
Mr. Nafi’u Mohammed brings valuable skills in managing projects, working with stakeholders and delivering measurable results.
The government expects him to build on the progress already made and take ACReSAL interventions to higher levels across Katsina State.
Governor Radda has directed the outgoing coordinator to transfer all documents, project equipment and responsibilities to Mr. Nafi’u Mohammed according to proper handover procedures.
The Katsina State Development Management Board (KTDMB) will maintain its role as the central body coordinating all development partners and projects in the state.
Governor Radda ordered all government agencies and development partners to give Mr. Nafi’u Mohammed full support so the ACReSAL Project continues smoothly without delays.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
