Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state has received the 2024 Hajj Report with a promise to improve the 2025 Hajj operations and pilgrims’ welfare in the state.

The Governor Commitment take place at Africa House on Friday when the management of the state Pilgrims Board led by the Director General, Lamin Dan Bappa presented the Report of the 2024 Hajj Report operations.

Governor Abba Yusuf promised to ensure that, services for the next exercise are improved upon as well as the welfare of the pilgrims.

The Governor who was elated with the testimonies of the people on how the 2024 Kano pilgrims were treated by officials of the state Pilgrims Board, described the 2024 Hajj as the most successful one.

”The Governor support extended beyond logistics, providing additional financial assistance of 500,000 Naira to each pilgrim, supplemented by Alh Ibrahim Mijinyawa’s donation of 150,000 Riyals.

The exemplary service earned Kano State international recognition, attracting more international pilgrims and awards from Hajj monitors.

The Deputy Governor Comred Aminu Abdussalam Gwazo, who led the Amir Hajj delegation, lauded the governor’s efforts, describing the 2024 Hajj operations as a “day of reckoning” and a “report equal to 10.”
