Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state had inaugurated the reconstruction and dualization of the 2.6-kilometer Lodge road to Government House roundabout.
This was part of the ongoing celebrations marking his one year in office and the urban renewal efforts of the Kano state government.
Governor Abba Kabir also unveiled the first phase of the Wuju-Wuju road spanning 1.2 kilometers and the refurbished Bayero Soli road, complete with an off-ramp linking to the Ado Bayero mall within the bustling Kano metropolis.
“These road constructions form integral components of the Kano State Government’s urban renewal program, aimed at enhancing the quality and accessibility of roads in light of the state’s pivotal role in commerce and other economic endeavors.
As he regarding the dualized Wuju-Wuju road, the Governor revealed that the project was initially conceived during the second term of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso 2023, with the intention of facilitating smoother traffic flow.
Abba Kabir Yusuf made a commitment to completing the remaining phases of the road project with solar-powered lighting to benefit the local populace and further enhance the state’s urbanization efforts.
He echoed the steadfast dedication of his administration towards executing developmental directly impact the lives of individuals across all 44 local government areas in the state.
As expressing his gratitude,Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf acknowledged the unwavering support and collaboration of the state’s residents towards his administration.
“We are appealing for continued cooperation to advance the state’s development and prosperity.
