Governor Babagana Zulum has swiftly activated relief measures for communities affected by the recent flood in Borno State.
Addressing the ongoing crisis, Gov Zulum announced that his administration is mobilizing cooks to prepare meals in camps for displaced residents.
Additionally, each flood-impacted household head will receive N10,000 in immediate relief.
The governor also disclosed that his administration received N3 billion from the federal government a few days ago, which is being channeled directly to support the affected communities.
“We are committed to ensuring timely and effective aid to all those suffering from this disaster,” Zulum said.
