The Arewa Progressive League has lauded the Administration of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, saying that the Governor recorded giant strides recorded by the Governor is unprecedented.
The Secretary-general of Arewa Progressive League, Hassan Labaran Ali stated this in Kaduna during a press conference.
Ali said that Governor Uba Sani was irrevocably committed to delivering qualitative governance to the good people of Kaduna State , adding that his policies would continue to improve the lives of millions of residents, create jobs and drive economic growth.
She said that the achievements of Governor Uba Sani in one year leadership of the state had surpassed four years of previous administration in the state.
Ali noted that in the last one year, Governor Uba Sani’s administration has continued to work tirelessly to implement a range of reforms abs projects aimed at transforming the state’s economy, infrastructure, social services and campaign against poverty.
She listed some of the achievements to include the signing of an Executive Order for over 2 million poor , underserved people in Kaduna State, the first Governor to release over 3 billion naira to pensioners and families of deceased persons who served the state civil service.”
Ali said that Governor Uba Sani was the first to launch mobile clinics to ensure access to quality healthcare services for remote areas of the state.
According to her , other achievements of the Governor in one year in office were the commissioning of the first township stadium in Kudan Local Government Area of the state, rural electrification and rural roads few months after being sworn into office, and the introduction of a homegrown economic intervention measures known as ‘A kori Talauci’ which provided funding support from N50,000 to N300,000 per beneficiary.
Ali further explained that the Governor was the first to pursue homegrown micro economic policies to give a major and fast boost to the fortune of small scale entrepreneurs and the first to spend N11.4billion to alleviate the sufferings of the citizens of Kaduna State among others.
