Katsina State Governor, Malam Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda (PhD), has unveiled a landmark publication chronicling the lives and achievements of the state’s most distinguished sons and daughters.
The book, titled “100+ Eminent Nigerians From Katsina State: Profiles in Nation Building and History,” captures the cultural heritage, values, and contributions of Katsina indigenes who have played pivotal roles in shaping Nigeria’s growth and development.
The launch, which took place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Auditorium, brought together government officials, scholars, traditional rulers, and members of the public in a celebration of Katsina’s enduring legacy.
Speaking at the event, Governor Radda hailed the publication as a “treasure of history” that not only honors the state’s trailblazers but also serves as an inspiration to future generations. He urged Katsina citizens to draw lessons from the lives of the eminent personalities featured and continue to uphold the values of excellence, service, and integrity.
