Katsina State Governor Implements Strategic Changes in Leadership Roles
In a bid to bolster the performance of his Building Your Future agenda, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving key ministries.
A prominent highlight of the reshuffle is the appointment of Alhaji Malik Anas as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning. Anas, a former State Accountant General and a Masters holder in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, brings a wealth of expertise as a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
Other notable changes include:
Alhaji Bello Husaini Kagara’s reassignment to the Ministry of Finance.
Hon. Bashir Tanimu Gambo transitioning to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Alhaji Yusuf Rabi’u Jirdede now heading the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment.
Alhaji Adnan Nahabu assuming leadership of the Ministry of Special Duties.
Governor Radda emphasized the importance of aligning the commissioners’ objectives with the administration’s developmental goals and urged them to intensify their commitment to the people of Katsina State.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, described the reshuffle as a strategic move to optimize service delivery across all sectors.
