Gov Radda Orders Speedy Completion of Jikamshi Model School

In a determined push to enhance education in Katsina State, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has called for accelerated completion of two key school projects. The Governor issued the directive during a surprise inspection visit to project sites in Jikamshi and Koda/Damnuna.

The first stop was the special model school in Jikamshi, Funtua Zone, where construction has made significant progress, with wall fencing at 90% completion. Governor Radda instructed contractors to ensure the school is ready before the end of 2025, emphasizing the importance of timely delivery to serve the community’s educational needs.

In Koda/Damnuna, Charanchi Local Government, the Governor inspected a World Bank-assisted secondary school nearing completion. He commended the project’s high quality and encouraged the contractors to maintain the momentum for an early handover.

The Governor was joined by top officials, including the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, and State Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Bello H. Kagara, underscoring the administration’s commitment to prioritizing education.
