The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Monday paid a strategic visit to the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Ahmed Galadima Aminu, at the Fund’s headquarters in Abuja’s Central Business District.
The visit was part of Governor Radda’s ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration with federal institutions and attract impactful partnerships that align with the development priorities of Katsina State—particularly in youth empowerment, capacity building, and enterprise development.
Speaking during the meeting, Governor Radda stressed the need for strong federal-state synergy to unlock technical support and funding opportunities critical to the success of ongoing reforms in the state. He described PTDF as a vital ally in actualizing Katsina’s long-term vision for economic resilience and human capital growth.
The Governor was accompanied by a high-powered delegation that included Chief of Staff, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Principal Private Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Dr. Faisal Kaita; Commissioner for Health, Hon. Musa Adamu; Special Adviser on Power and Energy, Dr. Hafiz Ahmed; and Technical Assistant on Enterprises, Dr. Babangida Ruma.
The two sides discussed several areas of potential partnership, especially in skills acquisition, energy infrastructure, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to fostering sustainable development.
