Shortly after the Juma’at prayer at Dumurkul Central Mosque, a special prayer session was held in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was in attendance, joining family members, traditional leaders, and political dignitaries to pray for the peaceful repose of the late President’s soul.
Also present were the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk; elder statesman Mamman Daura; Musa Haro; Yusuf Buhari; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Yahaya Daura; and others.
Katsina Zonal APC Chairman, Alhaji Yahaya Asasanta; Mai’adua Local Government Chairman; Katsina Local Government Chairman; and Funtua Local Government Chairman were among those who also participated in the solemn prayer, paying their respects to the departed leader.
