Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has expressed deep appreciation for President Tinubu’s appointment of two Katsina State indigenes to pivotal roles at the Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA).
The newly appointed executives, Badru Muntaka Ahmed and Abubakar Ibrahim Dutsin-ma, are set to drive impactful reforms in agricultural services and financial management at the Authority.
Badru, a seasoned expert in agricultural financing with two decades of experience, takes up the role of Executive Director of Agricultural Services. An Ahmadu Bello University graduate, Badru’s extensive career in banking and regional development makes him a strategic choice. Governor Radda highlighted his exceptional ability to manage complex regional operations and champion agricultural transformation.
Similarly, Abubakar Ibrahim Dutsin-ma, appointed as Executive Director of Finance, brings a wealth of public sector experience. A former Mandate Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development, Abubakar has chaired key ministerial committees and is advancing his expertise with an MBA in Agribusiness Management from Rome Business School.
Governor Radda lauded these appointments as a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to merit-based leadership, noting the exceptional blend of technical expertise and regional insight both appointees bring.
“These appointments reaffirm the Federal Government’s focus on agricultural transformation and the empowerment of skilled professionals from Katsina State,” the Governor stated.
The Governor, on behalf of Katsina State, congratulated the appointees and assured President Tinubu of their unwavering dedication to advancing the Authority’s goals.
