Gov Buni Review The Curfew In Three Town

Following a considerable improvement in the security situation in Potiskum, Gashua and Nguru, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON has approved a review in the
curfew imposed on the three towns by five (5) hours.

In a press released signed by Birg Dahiru Abdulsalam (Rtd) the SA security matters to Governor Buni said, The curfew is  now relaxed from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM for people to undertake  lawful activitieswith effect from Sunday, 4th August 2024.

The Security agencies are enjoined to maintain the current level of
security alertness and ensure that no space is given to hoodlums
and miscreants to perpetrate any act of lawlessness during the
curfew relaxation period.

Consequently, law abiding citizens are requested to carry out their
lawful activities during the intervening period (12:00 noon to 5:00  PM) while the period between 5.00p.m to 12.00 noon remains
restricted respectively.
