Gov Buni Donates Ramadan Palliatives to Yobe Inmates

As part of commitment to the welfare of people of Yobe, governor Mai Mala Buni donates food items to Yobe State inmates as Ramadan Palliatives for iftar during the holy month of Ramadan.

In a press statement by Alhassan Sule Mamudo Chief information officer ministry of justice said that, While presenting the items on behalf of the state government, the Executive Secretary advisory council on prerogative of mercy Brr. Ali Adam Musa says that, the council is also organise counselling lecturers to the inmates during the month of Ramadan.

He appreciated the effort of the state government, saying that this is not the first time government is providing this kind of gesture across the correction facilities in the state atlarge.

The Executive Secretary call on the inmates to use the period of Ramadan by correcting on their past, emphasising that Allah loves those who repents and follow the good part.

Items donated included; assorted bags of rice, sugar, vegetable oil and Maggi among others respectively.
