Bauchi State Governor Bala Muhammad Kauran Daullar Usmaniyya has sacked five of his cabinet Commissioners and forwarded Eight names for security clearance to replace those dropped.
The Commissioners relieved of their position include Dr Jamila Dahiru of the Ministry of Education, the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs Barrister Abdul Hamid Abubakar Bununu, the Commissioner of Information and Communication Comrade Usman Danturaki so is the Commissioner of Agriculture Professor SimonMadugu Yalams and lastly Commissioner of Religious Affairs and Social Reorientation Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza .
According to a Press statement by the Governor’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity Comrade Mukhatar Gidado, says this is in line with the Governor’s policy to strategies and invigorate governance and ensure optimal service delivery to the people of Bauchi State.
Meanwhile the Governor has also forwarded the names of eight (8) prospective nominees for clearance as replacement of those dropped.
The new appointees include ; Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde from Toro Local Government area , Abdullahi Muhammad from Misau, Dr Bala Lukshi from Dass Local Government area. Others are Usman Usman Shehu from Shira, Dr Iliyasu Gital and Professor Titus Saul Ketkukah both from Tafawa Balewa Local Government area and lastly Dr Muhammad Lawal Rimin Zayam also from Toro Local Government area.
The Governor extended his profound gratitude to the outgoing Commissioners for their dedication to service and invaluable contribution to the growth and development of Bauchi State.
He said their efforts have been instrumental in advancing key initiatives and policies of this Administration.
Governor Bala Muhammad wishes them success in their future endeavors expressing confidence that they will continue to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria .
