Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state has announced the launch of a fertilizer sales initiative to benefit farmers across the state’s 44 local government areas, set to align with this year’s rainy season.
Governor Abba said this on Tuesday during the 16th Kano State Executive Council meeting at the parminent Council chamber.
The governor emphasized that the initiative aims to ensure a fruitful harvest and a seamless farming season for local farmers.
He revealed plans to distribute electricity transformers to communities within the 44 local government areas.
“This provision aims to enhance power supply and stimulate growth in small-scale industries and economic activities, particularly in rural areas.
Expressing gratitude for the support and collaboration of Kano’s populace, Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to executing developmental projects that directly improve the livelihoods of the state’s residents.
