1. Pripyat, Ukraine – Once home to over 49,000 residents, Pripyat became a radioactive ghost town overnight following the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986.
2. Ordos Kangbashi, China – Built to host over a million people, this ultra-modern city in Inner Mongolia remains eerily empty, with skyscrapers, stadiums, and theaters barely used.
