Anthropologist Hassan Ali Ghazaly, founder of the Afromedia Initiative for Pan African Journalism and Media, and Afromedia team extended heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Minister Gohar Nabil جوهر نبيل on his appointment as Minister of Youth and Sports via presidential decree and taking the constitutional oath.
In a statement, Ghazaly expressed Afromedia’s deep appreciation for this trust, stressing that the upcoming phase requires a renewed vision and effective policies to empower youth, support sports talents, and position sports as a development tool—aligning with Egypt’s state strategy and New Republic vision.
He highlighted the importance of bolstering Egyptian-African cooperation in media, youth, and sports to build bridges between peoples, promote shared values, discover young African talents, showcase positive models, market joint initiatives, and advance sustainable development while enhancing Egypt’s African soft power.
Ghazaly voiced confidence in Minister Nabil’s expertise and leadership to achieve breakthroughs in youth and sports sectors, strengthen regional partnerships, and benefit Egyptian and African youth.
