Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Monday evening, received a high-powered delegation from Kano State led by former Deputy Governor, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, who paid a condolence visit following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari.
The delegation also included former Kano Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Malam Nasiru Sule Garo, and Chairman of SDY Group, Alhaji Aminu Yakasai.
The visitors offered heartfelt sympathies to Governor Radda and his family, describing the late matriarch as a woman of virtue and prayer. They prayed for Allah’s mercy upon her soul and for strength to the bereaved family.
Governor Radda, in his response, expressed deep gratitude for the show of solidarity and kind prayers from the Kano delegation.
