A youth organisation championing development across the Funtua Zone has applauded Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for what it described as a rare and exemplary model of people-centered leadership.
Speaking through one of its members, Bello Yau, the group praised Governor Radda’s ongoing community tours, noting that his decision to consistently meet citizens in their towns and villages reflects genuine commitment to democratic governance and responsive leadership.
According to the organisation, Governor Radda’s approach—engaging directly with residents, listening to their concerns, and witnessing their challenges firsthand—has not only strengthened government–citizen relations but also reinforced confidence in his administration’s development agenda.
They added that such leadership “demonstrates sincerity, humility, and a clear understanding of the needs, concerns, and aspirations of the people at the grassroots.”
In a bold call, the youth group also urged the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, to adopt a similar interactive approach with his subjects. They maintained that direct engagement from traditional rulers would further deepen trust, improve communication, and enhance cooperation between leaders and the communities they oversee.
The organisation stressed that meaningful progress is often driven by active engagement, and leaders who remain close to their people tend to achieve more sustainable and inclusive development outcomes.
They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at promoting unity, development, and stronger governance within the Funtua Zone and Katsina State at large.
